Our Background

​

Burghclere Pre-School was established in January 1999 with just four children. It was the brain-child of a group of mums who felt there was a need for a pre-school within the village. Over twenty years on we are now a well estbalished pre-school with a fantastic team and are proud of our community routes.

 

In September 2024 we were granted a 'Good' OFSTED rating. It quoted "Staff are good role models and consistently reinforce positive behaviour"

Our Setting

​

The pre-school is based in Portal Hall, the local village hall which gives a fantastic space to work in. We have a secure outdoor play area which we use daily. Inside, we have an extensive range of equipment which we use to create learning zones, helping us to cover all the areas of learning as directed in the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
